Adult yoga class.
A 55-minute workout experience featuring slow, controlled, non-jarring movement easy on the joints. Partially inspired by Tai Chi and Qi-Gong but also inspired by the body's own desire to move and express itself. We will employ focused, intentional muscle awareness and muscle contraction using 1-lb weights or no weights. This work-out activates the mind as well as the body. We will use soothing, gentle music to help clear the mind and relax the body. The class will end with a period of stretching and relaxation. This class is ideal for anyone wanting a more relaxed, "no pressure" form of exercise. For more specific details on the class itself, call Rich at 436-1150.
